MARILU y SANDER

Marilu is from Spanish descent. As a young girl she started dancing and performing in several flamenco dance companies.
In 2005 she was introduced to the salsa scene and she immediately fell in love with the art form. Instructors noticed her talent and she was invited to dance with dance companies in the Netherlands, performing on national and international events.
Striving to improve her dancing skills, she travelled the world to take classes with the best instructors, specializing in mambo style. She had the opportunity to share the stage with Adolfo Indacochea, Carla Voconi and Tania Cannarsa.
In 2014 she started her own dance studio Salsa Connexion in Eindhoven, where she teaches together with her partner Sander Chan.
Sander was born and raised in the Netherlands and started salsa dancing in 2002.
He learned from the best national instructors and performed with several Dutch dance companies on national and international events.
A few years ago he started taking lessons and training intensively with Adolfo Indacochea in Milano. Finally he was given the opportunity to take part in the biggest dance production of Adolfo Indacochea and his Latin Soul Dancers “Tribute to the Kings Eddie Torres and Tito Puente”.
Having a true passion for teaching, he founded in 2014 his own dance studio Salsa Connexion in Eindhoven and in 2015 he started training and choreographing his student team.
